We are proud to announce that the DivorceCare for Kids group, led by Dr. Rick Petronella with the help of counseling therapist Bethany Petronella at Fellowship Bible Church in Roswell, GA has been named 1 of the top 100 DC4K groups in the region. DC4K is a special group designed to assist children in dealing with the pain and difficulty caused by parental separation or divorce. DC4K provides children with a safe and neutral space in which they are able to recognize, share, and process the feelings associated with divorce or separation. Children are engaged in a multitude of activities including games, crafts, role-playing, and activity books amongst many others. With the guidance of leaders like Dr. Petronella and daughter Bethany, children are able to begin healing from the difficulty caused by divorce and are able to begin turning feelings of hurt, anger, and sadness into feelings of hope, joy, and strength. DC4K provides children with the opportunity to experience personal and family growth in a supportive environment, even in the aftermath of divorce.
